Seller Agreements

I understand that I am signing up for the JBF Mid-Cities/Grapevine sale to be held at:

NYTEX Sports Centre

Dates: May 28- June 2

I understand that once I've been matched with a Valet Tagger, my Tagger will contact me to arrange for pickup of my items. Once my Tagger contacts me, I MUST RESPOND WITHIN 3 DAYS or my name will be removed from the list. This prevents someone from taking up one of the limited Valet Consignor spots.

I understand that of my sold items, I will earn 40% to be paid after the sale ends.

I understand that my $12 consignor fee will be charged when I sign up below.

I understand that I must prepay an initial $20 non-refundable supply fee (to cover cardstock, ink, and safety pins). If I end up with more than 200 items, I will be charged an additional $5 per 50 items (rounded up) for additional supplies that will be deducted from my consignor earnings check.

I understand that my clothing items must be current styles and clean, stain-free, tear-free, smoke, odor and pet hair free, and sorted by gender, size, and outfits. Non-clothing items must all be clean and in good working order. If quality standards are not met, these items will not be accepted, and I will incur one of the fees listed below.

I understand that my valet tagger is NOT responsible for cleaning my items. I will ensure my items are clean before handing them off to my valet tagger.

I understand that my items will be inspected and if any items are not acceptable, they will be returned to me. I understand that if I have more than 5 unacceptable items, I will be charged $0.25 for each "No Thank You" above 5. I also understand that this will be strictly enforced, so I will inspect my items carefully before handing them off to my valet tagger.

I understand that if 25 or more of my items are deemed unacceptable, my valet tagger will have the option to reject the entire job and I will forfeit my consignor fee ($12) and my initial supply fee ($20).

I understand that I will be charged $1.00 for each battery that my tagger must supply. I will ensure that my items have working batteries prior to handing them off to my valet tagger.

I understand that I must consign a minimum of 50 items.

I understand my items need to be sorted before handing them off to my valet tagger by gender, then by size. Outfits that go together must be folded together, such as shirt/shorts with coordinating hat, socks, etc. before handing them off to my valet tagger.

All clothing or smaller items must be brought in cardboard boxes or tubs. These containers will NOT be returned to me. I will not bring clothing in bags due to excessive wrinkling.

If I have specific prices I want charged for items, I will attach notes to those items prior to handing my items off to my valet tagger and I will communicate that to my valet tagger. I will not note pricing for more than 10% of my items. Pricing is done by the valet tagger and is final.

I understand that ALL of my items will be marked 1/2 price during the 1/2 price day(s) of the sale.

I understand I will be responsible for handing off my items to my valet tagger by a designated date that will be communicated to me. The meeting place will be at my valet tagger's discretion (I know that I will be paired with a tagger who lives close to me). I understand that this date is critical to ensure my tagger has enough time to prep my items for the sale.

I understand that any items I do not designate for donation MUST be picked up during the pickup time I selected above. If I do not pick up my items by 7:01pm on June 2, my items will be donated even if I do not designate them as such.

I agree that as a condition of selling items at a JBF Mid-Cities/Grapevine consignment sale, I represent and warrant the following to be true and correct: I am the owner of the items to be sold, and I have full authority to sell the items for sale. Each item offered for sale by me is in good operating condition, reasonable wear and tear expected, and is not defective, broken, or damaged in any way. Each item complies with applicable law. No item is subject of any pending or threatened recall notice or other consumer protection enforcement action. I know of no reason why any item offered for sale by me would cause any injury to another. I understand and accept that JBF Mid-Cities/Grapevine is not responsible for fire, loss, theft, or damage to my items. Further, I am participating in an ethical manner and agree that I am not attempting to learn the business practices of JBF, operations, techniques, or any other business matters that may or may not be trademarked, registered or proprietary in any way. I am willing to sign a confidentiality agreement and will do so if asked by a representative of Just Between Friends.

Consignor Fee

The cost of the consignor fee is $12.

Consignor fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
